As we approach our first anniversary, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the amazing journey Oculus Legal Group has had since we launched nearly a year ago. It’s been a whirlwind of growth, achievements, and, of course, some well-deserved celebrations along the way.
? The Oculus Journey: A Year in Review ?
November 2023 – The Journey Begins Our vision was clear, and our recruitment team was born. Oculus Legal Group officially came to life.
December 2023 – Building Momentum We strengthened our foundations, built relationships, and celebrated our first Christmas in Bath with darts, karaoke, and a well-deserved promotion for Ffion Watts to Senior Recruitment Consultant.
January 2024 – New Year, New Goals We kicked off 2024 with big ambitions, including a New York incentive trip for our top billers. Plus, a friendly sales competition saw the girls claim victory over the boys.
February 2024 – Growth and Bonding Ellie Marshall was promoted to Associate Legal Director, and the team cheered on the Six Nations together. Rugby, promotions, and team spirit—what’s not to love?
March 2024 – Q1 Triumph Private dining at Pasture marked the end of a record-breaking Q1. Cheers to smashing our targets! ?
April 2024 – Milestones Reached We hit our 6-month mark, achieved our Dublin target, and saw Robyn Evans promoted to Senior Recruitment Consultant.
May 2024 – Rebranding in Full Swing With a new look underway, the team rallied together to breathe fresh life into the Oculus brand.
June 2024 – Dublin Celebrations Our team marked the Dublin target with style: breakfast at The Ivy, the Guinness Factory tour, and live music galore. We welcomed Kieran Moore, who made his first placement in just his first week.
Oculus Technologies was born, offering our legal clients a full suite of services.
July 2024 – Summer Fun Board games, drinks, and our summer party kept spirits high. We welcomed Jack, who took the reins of our business support team.
August 2024 – Expanding the Family Meg joined to head up our South West and Midlands family and residential property team. We celebrated our 100th placement of the year and soaked up some sunshine with a BBQ at Queen’s Square.
September 2024 – Breaking Records Niamh joined Jack in expanding our business support team. We achieved a record-breaking quarter and earned an incentive for the whole team to dine at Ivy Asia.
October 2024 – Big Milestones, Big Plans The Oculus rebrand and new website launch are live! Kieran passed his probation early, and with big events still in the diary for this year, we’re gearing up for an even bigger 2025.
The Rebrand: A New Era for Oculus Legal Group Our fresh new look reflects our ambition and growth. With a lot more to come over the next 12 months, the future is looking brighter than ever.
